The study was conducted by studying the nature of verbal memory of thousands of men and women. The result is that woman is able to remember what has been said last longer. While men more quickly forget the words ever spoken.
The researchers note that women’s verbal memory far exceeds the amount of memory in males. This not only occurs in adults, but also in children.
Investigators did not explain the details why. However, memory can be superior to women because the hormone estrogen, which also takes a role in it.
