Apologise with Flowers
A few months ago my wife and I had a huge row. Both of us wanted to go on holiday that year but we both had different ideas about where to go and what to do. We both wanted to find some sun, and we both wanted to take a week away, but the main difference in our thinking was what we would do with the kids. My wife wanted us to do something with the kids and I wanted us to go away on our own. We normally took two family vacations a year but this year the plan was to have three. I thought that it would be a good idea for myself and my wife to go somewhere on our own, now that the kids were old enough to stay home on their own, because we had both really missed spending quality time together. Despite my wife wanting a break from the kids she refused to consider a holiday without them, and we just couldn’t settle it.
For days we didn’t talk to each other, and by the time the weekend arrived, the atmosphere in the house was tense and I knew that I had to do something to change things round. I went on the internet and found an enormous bouquet of roses which I ordered to be delivered to the house. As soon as they arrived I told my wife about my great idea to go to a villa I had found in the South of France which had a separate annexe that the kids could stay in. She was absolutely thrilled with the roses, and the idea, and it was back to happy families!
