The Breweries of Denver, CO
Wednesday, February 8th, 2012
Denver, Colorado is a city that just loves beer. This place has several large beer tasting festivals and venues throughout the year plus more than its share of local breweries. One of the largest ones that many will know is the Coors brewery which is not only a landmark and one you must take a tour of while in Denver, but it is the only major brewery in the area. With that said there are many great breweries around for tasting and trying in personalized beer glasses made just to enhance the flavors of their beers.
The oldest brew-pub in Denver is the Wynkoop Brewing Company where you can enjoy great beer in pint glasses and a good bite to eat. Another popular one you may already know is the Great Divide Brewing or how about the Breckenridge Brewery? And of course you cannot forget about Del Norte Brewing which offers some of the finest Mexican-style beers for complimenting the wonderful Mexican food that abounds in Denver. There are so many it is impossible to talk about them all but if you want to taste them all come to the Beer Week festival and get your taste buds going. While there, take home your very own personalized beer mug as a souvenir.
