Tuesday, July 26th, 2011
There are a number of reasons for hair loss. Severe illness, major surgery or shock may cause sudden or large scale loss of hair in both men and women. Hair loss in such cases is temporary and will grow back after the body has had a chance to regain its strength and vitality. Here there will be no need for use of intensive hair loss products as only some general tonics and vitamins will be enough.
One will be able to see results of hair growth after a few months of treatment. Hair loss is also due to hormonal problems for example an over or under active thyroid gland will cause some loss of hair. In this case too hair loss products will be unsuccessful, but proper treatment of thyroid problem to balance out related hormones will be necessary.
Whatever hair loss treatment you may select, it should be followed up from beginning to end. Hair loss treatment will also be necessary in women during pregnancy and after child birth. Women going through menopause will also notice a great deal of hair loss and thinning hair. People who are under treatment for heart problems and high blood pressure usually take medicines to cause thinning of blood. Surprisingly, this causes thinning hair as a side effect and should be treated immediately.
